Finally... the BIG day!
Well, it's finally here. We all decided to make this trip happen about a year ago. And since then, Cameron has worked (and worked and worked) various events and occasions amassing money for the trip. Kim has also worked tirelessly --- manning a concession stand at US Bank Arena, to name just one thing she's done. And frankly, I couldn't possibly count / recall how many events she worked. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, Kim. I also want to thank everyone else who has contributed in any way to this trip. There are several of you out there, and you know who you are. Thanks very much. Truth be told, I'm not sure who's more excited --- Cameron or me. I do know I can't wait to experience this with my oldest son. On that note... the only 'less than great' thing about the whole trip... I've only been away from Kim and the other boys for 5 days at one time (twice... once for work, once for fun). And this trip better than doubles that duration. It's going to be very (VERY) strange, not starting the day with each of their faces / voices / etc. There's nobody who's more up to making it a seamless transition than Kim, so I take great comfort in that. And the boys themselves will be fine. I suspect they're gonna miss their big brother more than they are able to imagine or willing (LOL) to admit. But ours is a busy household, and once Cameron and I get out of everyone's way here, life here is going to proceed very much as is typical. As for Cameron & I, we have quite the busy 11-or-so days in front of us. Take care everybody. I'll be updating this page as regularly as possible, so check back.

How exciting! Good to know you're "all good", on the first leg of the trip, and now are in flight, on your way to Dublin. Hope you get some sleep tonight. That'll help make tomorrow more enjoyable. Thanks for putting this blog together so we can communicate.
