Settling In...

Today (which is really just a running-on extension of yesterday... I think), we touched-down in Dublin around 8:30am or so (Dublin time), spent a fair amount of time getting thru customs, getting luggage, etc. I've quickly had it impressed on me that there is no way that even CLOSELY resembles 'quick' when it comes to trying to coordinate anything involving 200+ people. But no problems. We then got a bus, headed to Galway. Stopped along the way in a town called Moate and grabbed some lunch. When we got checked-in @ Galway, we had an hour to kill and then went for a 'walking tour' of downtown Galway. Very cool, old town. See pic of Cameron --- we were by one of the lockes, and the weather was beginning to get very 'Ireland' on us. Again, no problems. Dinner this evening was great. Gonna sleep like a rock tonight. We have an early wake-up tomorrow and then it's on to a whole lotta stuff.
Great News for those of you who have been following along with the Paxton-Eye-Injury saga. Just got news from home, he had another appointment this afternoon and has BEEN CLEARED! There are things we need to do, and plenty of stuff to keep in mind as he 're-inserts' himself to an active life... but the great news (the only news that counts, really), we appear to now have the 'woods' in our rearview. Thanks to all who have inquired about him over the past week and a half. Keeping him in your thoughts, etc. BIG SMILES FOR THE GREAT NEWS!
